Harriett is an interior designer in New York and when she contacted me, she had a particular aesthetic she was looking for. She was inspired by the wedding of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco and Grace Kelly in 1956 at the Prince's Palace of Monaco and the Saint Nicholas Cathedral. We talked through some options and wanted to try to achieve a similar aesthetic by using cameras and lenses from the 1950's and Kodak film. We wanted a very relaxed approach, but an elegant result. We were both thrilled with the results and the project pushed me creatively and resulted in some of my favorite photographs.
