Birmingham is where I live with my wife and our six children. It's home in every sense of the word — familiar, creative, and full of history and charm. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings not only here in Alabama, but also across the United States and throughout Europe. From grand cathedrals in Austria to quiet garden ceremonies in Mountain Brook, I bring the same care and artistic focus to every celebration, no matter where it takes place.

Birmingham has a quiet beauty that’s easy to overlook. The textures, the light, the architecture - it all plays into how I see and photograph a wedding. It’s a place that feels lived in and layered, which is what I try to bring into every collection I deliver. You can read more about my style and approach, here.

Birmingham is the city that I call home.

A Fine Art Approach to Honest Moments

My goal is to create photographs that feel timeless. I use a combination of digital and vintage film cameras to capture real moments with an editorial eye. Every wedding is different, and I approach each one with fresh perspective, while drawing on more than a decade of experience.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph weddings across many of Birmingham’s most iconic venues. A few favorites include The Club, Grand Bohemian Hotel, Aldridge Gardens, and private estate celebrations in Mountain Brook. Each location offers its own kind of elegance, and I love working with couples to bring their vision to life in these spaces.

For couples who trust the process

As a Birmingham wedding photographer with a background in fine art and film photography, most of the couples I work with care deeply about beauty, intention, and meaningful details. They’re not looking for trendy filters or endless posed shots - they want their wedding day to be documented honestly, with an elegant and artistic approach.

I work best with couples who value creative freedom and trust me to see the day clearly. If you’re looking for a photographer who will work off a shot list, I may not be the best fit. But if you're drawn to images that feel genuine, and thoughtful, we’ll get along just fine. I can't wait to see what we create together.

"These are the ARTISTIC, BEAUTIFUL, and FUN PHOTOS I was hoping we would have from our wedding day. You have such an amazing talent and eye."
