Harriet is an interior designer based in New York, and when she reached out to me, she had a very specific vision in mind. She was inspired by the elegance and restraint of Grace Kelly’s 1956 wedding to Prince Rainier III and wanted her own celebration to reflect that same timeless aesthetic.
We talked through the idea of using vintage film equipment and ultimately chose cameras and lenses from the 1950s, along with Kodak film, to create a Grace Kelly inspired wedding that felt both refined and relaxed. Harriet cared deeply about the details: proportion, light, and design. That clarity shaped the way I approached the entire day.
The result is a classic and honest collection of photographs that feel like they could have been taken in another era. Some of my favorite images I’ve ever made came from this wedding.
